Terms OF SERVICES & CONDITIONS

 

By paying your KONIG KLEAN LLC services deposit you agree to be bound by KONIG KLEANLLC Terms of Service & Conditions. It is your responsibility to check and be aware of all Terms of Service and Conditions.

You can review the most current version of our Terms of Service & Conditions at any time on this page. 

We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service & Conditions. 

KONIG KLEAN LLC Terms of Service & Conditions, last updated Wednesday  October 15th of 2025. 

1. COST OF SERVICE &  PAYMENT TERMS

Deposit Payment 

-    To secure your service date and a price quote, a $50 deposit is required on booking.

-    You have 1 business day from the day it was sentr to you to pay your deposit and secure your service date and, a price quote

-    KONIG KLEAN LLC reserves the right to change the original price quote on the customers requested services if the customer does not pay their deposit within 1 business day. KONIG KLEAN LLC can not guarantee same available date if the deposit is not paid within 1 business day. Availability is not guaranteed, as we operate on a first come first serve basis.

-    If your quoted service is greater than $2,000 dollars a 10% deposit of your total quoted service fee is required on booking to secure your service date and your requested services, plus 50% of the total that is left to be paid must be paid at time of signing the proposal and job agreement. 

-    All deposit payments are to be paid electronically via the secure payment link shared with you. We accept all major credit/debit cards Visa, Master Card, AMEX and Discovery. 

- Your deposit is fully refundable up to 1 business day prior to your service day if you request in writing via email that you wish to cancel your services with KONIG KLEAN  LLC. or call us to let us know. Allow for 5 business days for the process to refund your deposit. 

If you request a refund either the day of your service, or less than 1 business day before your service date, you will not be refunded your deposit.

-    In the instance that the customer postpones their service date KONIG KLEAN LLC will keep the customer’s deposit 30 days from the service date. If the customer does not wish to work with KONIG KLEAN LLC, this refund will be directly refunded into the customer’s card which the original deposit was paid with, if the cancelation is done within these 30 days. If the customer wishes to do services with KONIG KLEAN LLC after the 30 days of their postponed service date they must rebook and pay a new deposit.

Outstanding balance payment

-    The remaining balance of your invoice is due on the day of your service date.

-    We accept cash, bank checks and all major credit, visa and debit cards for the remaining balance of your invoice.

-    If you have opted to pay cash or check on the day of your service you must  notify KONIG KLEAN LLC when you receive your invoice and/or during the booking process.

-    If any outstanding payment is not made a third party debt collector will be contacted to resolve this and this may impact your credit score.

Cancellations and Service Date Changes

-    To cancel your booked KONIG KLEAN LLC service, a minimum period of notice of no less than 1 business day or 24 hours prior to your service date is required in order for you to obtain a full refund of your deposit and avoid additional penalties.

-    To reschedule your booked service date with KONIG KLEAN LLC , we require a minimum period of 1 business day prior to your booked service date, penalties will apply if we are not informed within these guidelines of our rescheduling date.

Additional charges

- If on the day of your service, you request additional services  that are not reflected on your original quote or proposal  you will be provided with an updated quote and/or proposal for servicing additional areas and/or new services. 

Payment for the additional services can be made over the phone or via the link, if provided to you, we accept all major credit, visa and debit cards.

- If payment for the additional items will be using cash or bank check, you need to inform KONIG KLEAN LLC and a payment must be made prior to the service beginning.

- We cannot provide additional services unless that additional service fee is paid at the time of performing the same.

- Payment for parking tickets are the responsibility of KONIG KLEAN LLC.

Promotional Codes and Discounts

- Promotional codes, discounts and coupons need to be redeemed with a KONIG KLEAN LLC Representative prior to your finalized quote in order for them to be accepted. Your quote will reflect the applied discount.

- Promotional codes, discounts and coupons, if available at the moment of booking for selected services, will be applied automatically to your quote/proposal. 

- We may apply a discount to a quote that is a comparable competitor quote. The quote of the competitor must be emailed with supporting documentation to KONIG KLEAN LLC at sales@konigklean.com. If the services are like to like, and the quote is legitimate from an equal size organization KONIG KLEAN LLC will aim to match or beat the competitors quote. There is no guarantee that KONIG KLEAN LLC will match or provide a discount. KONIG KLEAN LLC will determine what is a comparable quote and what discount to provide. 

- If a customer who is working with KONIG KLEAN has applied an active promo code discount during the booking process that same customer can not be a referral customer. A referer can not make a claim for a referral commission fee if their referral has applied a promo code and discount to their service, referral commissions are not valid and are not paid in this scenario.

Cost of Service

-    Costs of our services are subject to change if the date or time of booked service date and time is changed by the customer.

-    KONIG KLEAN LLC requires 1 business day of notice for the rescheduling and cancellation of cleaning service or any other service which KONIG KLEAN LLC provides. A failure to meet these requirements will result in a penalty of $50.

-    The total quoted cost of services includes all necessary materials, equipment, and cleaning solutions

(excluding painting materials such as paint and patchinng materials, which must be paid by the customer, the price cost for the same will be included in customer's invoice).

-    Additional waiting time charges may be applicable if there are any delays caused by the customer or building’s management.

-    Cost of service is subject to change if the customer adds additional service areas or new services that were not originally quoted for in the original quote or proposal.

-    For video estimates, the quote provided by KONIG KLEAN LLC for services is based on the space and property shown in the video quoting process and the necessary work needed done agreed to by the customer when booking their service. If additional service areas or new services are added that were not quoted for in the original service quote the cost of service is subject to change.

- We do not accept crypto-currency as form of payment.  

- We DO NOT issue refunds. We will be happy to return to re-clean/re-do the part/s of the room that were not serviced properly. 

- If our crew is turned away when they arrive and can’t access your premises, a fee of 50% of the service charge, that is left to be paid after initial deposit, will be applied as a fee.

2. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY AND  EXPECTATIONS

 The customer or his/her legal representative MUST BE present at all times of the service. If the client or client’s representative is not present, KONIG KLEAN LLC will not be responsible for any claims. 

- Perishable goods must be packed and safely put in a storage containers by the customer under food & safety requirements. KONIG KLEAN LLC  will not be held liable or responsible for any sickness, damages or death due to food poisoning. It is customer's responsibility to safely store any food that in in open space. 

- Customers must unplug any electronic components and items; our crew will not unplug or install any electronic components before, during, and after the service is performed. 

- Water source must be provided by the customer for the purpose of doing cleaning, painting, window washing and/or pressure washing. 

- Children, Pets and Live Animals should at all times during the service be with the client or client's representative, or placed in a room where service will not be performed. 

- All furniture should be moved away from the walls leaving enough space for our painting technicians to perform painting job. If furniture is not moved away from the walls, there will be a charge of an additional fee determined by our painting technicians and KONIG KLEAN LLC will not be responsible for any damages caused by moving the same. 

- All furniture and children's beds should be covered with an appropriate material that does not soak  through paint. KONIG KLEAN LLC will not be responsible for any damages caused by paint. Painting technicians upon arrival and before starting painting job will tape - cover floor, switches, outlets, door knobs, kitchen counter and appliances, bathroom tub/shower, sink and toilet bowl, and place cover at the floor. 

- All furniture should be moved away from the walls leaving enough space for our window washing technicians to perform window cleaning. If furniture is not moved away from the walls, there will be a charge of an additional fee determined by our technicians and KONIG KLEAN LLC will not be responsible for any damages caused by moving the same. Window area should be clear of any items. If window area is not clear of items, a fee determined by our technitians will be applied for moving the same items. KONIG KLEAN LLC will not be held liable for any damages, lost or stolen items of the same. 

- KONIG KLEAN LLC is committed to ensuring a safe and hygienic experience for both our clients and our staff. Therefore, we reserve the right to refuse to provide service to premises that do not meet acceptable sanitary standards. If our team determines that the condition of the premises poses a health risk, we may cancel the service at our discretion. Clients are encouraged to ensure that all items and areas are clean and free from pests or hazardous conditions prior to the scheduled service date. In such case, KONIG KLEAN LLC is not responsible for returning the deposit paid for that service. 

- KONIG KLEAN reserves the right to take photographs and/or videos at client's location during the course of service. This documentation may be used strictly for operational purposes, including but not limited to verifying property condition, ensuring quality control, and supporting liability or insurance claims, and for marketing purposes. 

- Clients are strongly advised to retain possession of all personal and essential items during the service. This includes, but is not limited to: cell phones, laptops, tablets, passports, personal identification documents, credit/debit cards, wallets, keys, prescription medications, cash, and other irreplaceable personal belongings. KONIG KLEAN LLC will not be held liable for the loss, misplacement, or damage of any such items if they are accidentally dropped and/or touched. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure these items are kept with them at all times.

- KONIG KLEAN LLC is not liable for any insurance claims or damages filed by the customer for already broken or damaged property at client's location. Our crew reserves the right to take photographs before starting to perform the job for this purpose. 

3. BUILDING INSURANCE - COI (Certificate of Liability insurance)

- KONIG KLEAN LLC will provide customers who have booked services with a Certificate of Insurance COI if it is required by your buildings’ management to perform a service, through our 3rd party insurance provider. 

- It is the customer’s responsibility to obtain the requirements from building management, provide them to us via email prior to their service date, and to notify KONIG KLEAN LLC if their service address requires a COI.

- KONIG KLEAN LLC has the right to refuse to provide service to the customer or charge an additional fee if we arrive at the service location and the customer did not provide COI information prior to the service day.

- KONIG KLEAN LLC does not provide floor and elevator protection of the building (where the apartment is located and in which the service will be provided)  in our standard price quote service fee. If a customer or management building requires wall, floor and elevator padding/protection it is the responsibility of the customer to communicate this prior to their service day when booking their service, or within 48 hours of their service day to ensure that material is prepared for their service day. Additional material and handling fees apply for this kind of protection.

- Clients must confirm all service restrictions (e.g., hours, elevator use, dock access) directly with building management and provide that information to KONIG KLEAN LLC  by phone or email. Details listed on COI documents are often generic and will not be accepted as confirmation of building rules. Any issues caused by unverified or incorrect restriction info will be the client’s responsibility. 

4. CLAIM AND REFUNDS 

- Our aim is to resolve any claim as soon as possible.

- You have 24 HOURS from the date of service to file your claim. If you fail to file a claim within 24 hours from your service date KONIG KLEAN LLC will not be held liable for any damages or liabilities.

- If you purchased insurance through a third-party insurance company, please refer to your contract with the insurance provider for specific terms and conditions, such as the deadline to submit your claim and any other relevant details.

- The claim must be submitted in writing to KONIG KLEAN LLC. After you submit your claim, KONIG KLEAN LLC has 30 days to acknowledge receipt of your claim. KONIG KLEAN LLC has 120 days to provide you with a disposition. KONIG KLEAN LLC is entitled to a 90-day extension if the claim cannot be processed or disposed of within 120 days. 

- Claimant/submitter of the forgoing claim to KONIG KLEAN LLC, hereby make a solemn oath to the truth of the statements contained herein and exhibits attached, hereto, and that no material fact is withheld that should be included in this claim report. Once this claim/form has been reported/submitted claimant can not report any additional issue or be raised as a new claim to KONIG KLEAN LLC.

- If you have a claim to make, please contact sales@konigklean.com. Once you submit your KONIG KLEAN LLC claim form, you will be emailed a copy of the form for your own records.

- A claim cannot  be resolved immediately and may take some time before items can be inspected and repaired or replaced. We appreciate your cooperation and patience in this process.

You can expect the following from the process:

1.  We take your feedback and claims very seriously. Once we have received all the information regarding your claim including any supporting pictures or evidence our claims team will be in touch to begin investigating your claim.

2. Your appointed contact in our claims department will be your key contact as we resolve your claim. They email and call you as we make progress and find a fair resolution as quickly as possible. 

3. We will present and offer you with a fair and considered settlement offer. If you accept the offer we will compensate you accordingly. If our offer is not accepted we will work with an independent arbitrator where appropriate to resolve the claim.  

5. SAFETY OF OUR CREW PERSONNEL AND CUSTOMERS

- All KONIG KLEAN LLC personnel crews undergone 2 weeks of intensive training which covers job safety, lifting, securing items, equipment operating, cleaning of all types of surfaces and customer service training, cleaning solutions handling.

- Our crew personnel are covered by third party worker's compensation insurance which KONIG KLEAN LLC covers by New York State Law. 

- Customers are advised not to get involved in the job performing which they are paying KONIG KLEAN LLC to do so. If a customer gets involved and gets injured as a result of their actions, KONIG KLEAN LLC is not liable for any claims and damages that a customer causes themselves during their service. 

- Customers are expected to treat KONIG KLEAN LLC crew personnel respectfully. KONIG KLEAN LLC reserves a right to stop a service if a customer is harassing KONIG KLEAN LLC personnel. 

- As a cleaning company, KONIG KLEAN LLC must maintain a delicate balance between our liability, the health and safety of our staff, and the job requirements. Certain tasks or situations can put our cleaners' health and safety at risk, or damage items or spaces on your premises. It is your responsibility to notify KONIG KLEAN LLC. To ensure the safety of everyone and everything involved, our staff are not permitted to:

- Clean and/or service spaces that have any sort of infestation (e.g. bed bugs, cockroaches, mice, etc.) or clean any pest droppings (e.g. from mice, pigeons, etc.)

- Clean floors by hand in areas larger than 10'x10' (3mx3m)

- Use ladders higher than 3'(91cm) - a 3-step ladder is only permitted

- Clean pet waste (e.g. cat litter box, dog poop, etc.)

- Handle feces/urine/vomit/bodily fluids from a pet or a human

- Hand wash any type of clothing

- Clean high building exterior windows 

- Stand on counters, furniture, or appliances to clean hard-to-reach areas

- Lift or move any items heavier than 50lb

- Clean a car/garage

- Do outdoor work (lawn care, gardening, barbecue cleaning etc.)

- Clean/Work in an area that is still under major construction and is not safe

- Clean/Work in the premises in which a contagious illness or excessive bodily fluids are present

- Clean/Work in the premises that has severe mold or mildew problem

- Clean/Work in a premises  with excessive clutter where it poses a danger to staff

6. CLIENT REFERRAL PROGRAM 

- KONIG KLEAN LLC LLC offers a client referral program which awards a referrer with a commission fee on their referral’s completed service. Certain conditions must be met in order to earn a commission fee:

1. Referred customer must book their service and complete the payment for the service with KONIG KLEAN LLC. Which means that if you refer a friend or family member and they don’t book and/or they don't make payment for their service with KONIG KLEAN LLC you do not earn a referral commission fee. Referral fees are only paid on completed and paid in full for services with KONIG KLEAN LLC

2. All referrals must be submitted through the KONIG KLEAN LLC referral program web form. If you referred a friend via email to KONIG KLEAN LLC you are not entitled to a commission fee. If you referred a friend verbally to KONIG KLEAN LLC you are not entitled to a commission fee.

3. If you qualify for a referral fee, the referral fee will be sent to your submitted mailing address within 30 days from the date the service has been completed and earned (not after booking date, but after the date of the job complition and payment for the same).

4. Method of referral fee payment is strictly via certified bank check, which will be sent to you via KONIG KLEAN LLC, to the mailing address provided by the referrer via referral  program web form.

5. KONIG KLEAN LLC offers a 10% referral commission for the services on the total and paid invoice.  

6.  KONIG KLEAN LLC reserves the right to change the commission fee at any time, and or cancel this commission referral program.

6. The referred customer does not earn a commission or discount on their own if they are referred to KONIG KEAN LLC via this program. If the customer quotes a promo code during their booking process they can earn a discount on the service.

7. The referer does not earn a commission fee if their referral is a bussiness or residential customer who opt in for a daily, weekly,  monthly or any other repeatable service. 

8. The referer who earns a commission fee cannot apply the same commission fee as a credit for any future services  from KONIG KLEAN LLC. Nor can it be applied as a discount to future services of their or any contacts of theirs.

9. If the referred customer has an open or pending claim with KONIG KLEAN LLC which could result in a loss of earned revenue and damages, KONIG KLEAN LLC reserves the right to not pay the referrer their commission fee as no revenue has been earned. KONIG KLEAN LLC with discretion may pay the referer a flat commission fee of $30 dollars if their referral has an open and pending claim, no matter what the original percentage fee that could have been earned was without a pending claim.

10. KONIG KLEAN LLC does not recognize any web referral submissions forms, emails or calls for a referral commission fee after the referral’s booking service date – the date when the deposit and service agreement have been signed. All referrals are to be made prior to the referral booking their service with KONIG KLEAN LLC. 

11. KONIG KLEAN LLC will not pay or honor any referral commissions fees for referrals made post the referrals booking date.

12. KONIG KLEAN LLC will not recognize referral commission fee payments to referrers who refer customers who have previously booked service with KONIG KLEAN LLC as a repeat customer. KONIG KLEAN LLC may (but not obligated) at it's discretion and at this case offer a discount for a returning customer.

13. Referrers can not refer themselves for a commission fee. 

7. Military Discount Program

 -KONIG KLEAN LLC  offers military discounts to active and retired members of the United States Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force and Coast Guard. This discount also extends to spouses and dependents. The discount is dependent on the customer who is booking the service providing valid and current US military ID that is in their legal name. The person booking the service can not provide an ID of a friend, family member or partner.

-KONIG KLEAN LLC  strictly only accepts the following US Military Identification Cards: US Military ID Card, US Military Dependent ID Card, US Veterans ID Card, Veterans Designation on Driver’s License. KONIG KLEAN LLC will not accept any other forms of military identification.

- To redeem and be eligible for the KONIG KLEAN LLC Military Discount the customer must scan and or take a photo of their ID card and send it to the appropriate KONIG KLEAN LLC representative prior to booking their service.

- KONIG KLEAN LLC  will not accept military ID or apply the discount after the customer's service is booked and the service deposit is paid. The discount can not apply after the booking process occurs.

-KONIG KLEAN LLC  reserves the right to,  at any time, not offer Military discount and will not be held liable for any claims or damages.

TERMS OF SERVICE AND CONDITIONS (ADDED)

NOTE: Please, read Terms of Service above as they also apply to our practices

GENERAL CLIENT SERVICE POLICY

- Please note that KONIG KLEAN LLC has the authority to cancel any service at any time and for any reason. We have a zero-tolerance policy for racism, sexism, disrespect, discrimination, or any form of harassment or abusive behavior toward our staff. Such behavior will result in immediate and permanent termination of service.

 - All staff must present a current police clearance before being hired. Once cleared, they receive training and certification to provide high-quality professional services. At KONIG KLEAN, we prioritize the training of our employees by investing both time and money in their development. Due to their exceptional skills, it is possible for our clients or their affiliates to request our employees to work with them personally. If any of our employees are hired by the client or their affiliates while still employed with us, a fee of $2,000 is charged and the client or their affiliates must inform our office in writing about their hiring decision. 

- We provide all equipment and supplies for cleaning services. If our staff uses your products, we cannot guarantee our work if less effective substitutes are provided. Please note that using your products does not entitle you to any discounts or price decreases in service charges. For safety and to comply with OSHA regulations, our staff are instructed to wear shoes in your premises and permitted to use ladders not higher than 3' which are provided by KONIG KLEAN LLC.

​1. PAINTING SERVICE

- We buy paint and patching material for painting services. Prices for painting materials will be added to customer's invoice. It is customer's responsibility to pay. Our painting technitians offer a consultation on which products/paint customer should buy, and buy the same at customer's expense.

- For color paint, customer should know that the color represented on a paint authority sample may not show as the same shade when painted on the wall. KONIG KLEAN LLC will not be held responsible for not color matching, nor issue any kind of refund for the same. 

2. WINDOW WASHING SERVICE

  • Clear access: The client must ensure clear access to all windows, including moving furniture, personal items, and window treatments.

  • Pet safety: Pets must be secured and any waste in work areas should be picked up.

  • Utilities: The client must provide access to water (and electricity if needed) and inform the company of any issues like well water or low water pressure.

  • Property condition: The client is expected to ensure the property, including windows and doors, is in good repair and "weathertight".

  • Pre-service inspection: The client should inspect windows and screens for pre-existing damage before service begins.  Our team will do the inspection before starting to work. 

- Company policies

  •  The agreement will define what is included, such as basic cleaning or more detailed services like screen and track cleaning.

  • Scheduling and rescheduling: The company will need access within a specified timeframe, but may need to reschedule due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

  • Weather: The company may reserve the right to delay or cancel service during severe weather, such as freezing temperatures, snow, or ice, or any other storm. 

  • Safety: The company will not perform work that it deems unsafe and may refuse certain jobs even after a booking.

  • Payment: Payment terms, including when payment is due and consequences for late payment (such as late fees or suspension of service), are outlined in this Terms of Service above.. 

  - Disclaimers and liability

  • Pre-existing damage: The company is generally not responsible for damage to items that were already damaged before service, though they will notify the client of any issues they find.

  • Limitations: The company may not be responsible for damages caused by water infiltration from poor installation or repairs, or for stains that cannot be removed by conventional means.

  • Liability for damage: The agreement will specify the company's liability for accidental damage, often with limitations or exclusions. 

- KONIG KLEAN LLC cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by faulty or improper installation of items. We kindly request that you inform us of any items in your home that require special attention. In case of accidental damage during the job, our staff will promptly notify you. In case of any damages found due to our cleaning service, please inform KONIG KLEAN within 24 hours of the service provided (Please, read "Claim and Refunds" part).

- If you have any irreplaceable, collectible, or expensive objects, we ask that these items be secured or stored for safekeeping. We want to inform you that we cannot be held responsible for any lost or stolen items (More on this in above sections of this Terms of Service)
